Accounts receivable (A/R), sometimes called trade receivables or trade credit, is the amount that customers owe a company for goods and services that have been provided. In most business entities this is typically done by generating an invoice and delivering it to the customer which is to be paid within an established time-frame called credit or payment terms.  Of the $20 trillion exchanged in B2B transactions in 2007, over $19 trillion were completed through trade credit. Only 3% of B2B transactions were made with credit cards while 97% of B2B transactions were made on trade credit.  Yet, today businesses are finding that not every customer or every invoice is best suited for issuing trade credit. Accepting commercial credit cards like Corporate, Business, Purchasing and GSA Purchasing cards are also a very important component of a company’s payment policies.

Payment Analyst:        
Focus on marketing and providing payment solutions for B2B & B2G businesses.  Consult with entrepreneurs and business owners on industries hottest topics:

  • Payment systems security (PCI DDS)
  • Interchange pricing and level 3 incentive best rates
  • Compliant level 3 technology processing systems            
  • Accounts Receivables best practices

Experience:                
2 to 5 years experience in B2B sales with contacts in B2B industry segments.   

Qualifications:            

  • Experience building relationships and servicing clients
  • Willingness to learn a new industry and willingness to prospect
  • Professional consulting and communication skills
  • High level of integrity and good credit

Training:                     
Comprehensive training course including web based self study, personal one-on-one training and ongoing training and support provided by an experienced management team.
